COLLAGEN BUILDING INJECTIONS

Radiesse doesn’t inflate the face.

It supports it.

If your concern is sagging, skin laxity, or loss of structure— and you want results that look natural and age-appropriate— collagen-stimulating injections may be a better option than traditional fillers.

Collagen loss is the root cause of facial aging. Treatments that stimulate your own collagen create stronger, healthier skin that ages more gracefully over time.

Radiesse® collagen-stimulating injections reinforce and support the skin from beneath. Paired with our favorite Fractional COâ‚‚ laser resurfacing, rebuilds collagen by tightening and remodeling the skin from the surface downward.

Together, they address aging at multiple structural levels instead of chasing wrinkles one syringe or one treatment at a time.

Think of it this way: the COâ‚‚ laser tightens and improves the quality of the skin itself. Radiesse strengthens the underlying framework that holds that skin in place. When paired correctly, the results look more natural, last longer, and age better over time.

This approach is especially effective for patients with skin laxity, sagging, or thinning skin who want meaningful improvement without looking overfilled or unnatural.

Radiesse® Collagen-Stimulating Injections: Structural Support From Within

Radiesse® is not a traditional dermal filler. It is a biostimulatory injectable designed to stimulate your body’s own collagen production while providing immediate structural support.

Instead of simply adding volume, Radiesse works by reinforcing the underlying framework of the face—helping skin look firmer, smoother, and more supported over time.

What Is Radiesse Made Of?

Radiesse is composed of calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in a smooth gel carrier.

Calcium hydroxylapatite is a biocompatible substance that already exists naturally in the body, primarily in bones and teeth. This makes Radiesse well-tolerated and safe when used appropriately by trained medical providers.

Once injected, the gel provides immediate support. Over time, the CaHA particles stimulate fibroblasts to produce new collagen and elastin.

How Radiesse Builds Collagen

After injection, the gel carrier is gradually absorbed by the body. The calcium hydroxylapatite particles remain temporarily and act as a scaffold.

This scaffold signals your body to produce new collagen around it. As your own collagen forms, it replaces the structure initially provided by the gel.

The result is gradual, natural-looking improvement in firmness, texture, and skin quality that continues to develop over several months.

What Radiesse Treats Best

Radiesse is ideal for patients who need support and tightening, not puffiness or overfilling.
Common treatment areas include:
• Cheeks
• Jawline
• Temples
• Lower face support
• Pre-jowl sulcus
• Neck (when appropriately diluted)

It is especially effective for patients experiencing facial sagging due to collagen loss rather than volume loss alone.

Radiesse vs. Hyaluronic Acid Fillers

Hyaluronic acid fillers primarily add volume and hydration. Radiesse focuses on structure and collagen

regeneration.

In many patients, excessive or repeated hyaluronic acid filler can lead to heaviness, migration, or unnatural contours over time. Radiesse offers an alternative approach by supporting your own tissues rather than replacing them.

There is a time and place for hyaluronic acid fillers. However, for patients focused on long-term skin health and structural integrity, collagen stimulation is often the smarter strategy.

Diluted vs. Undiluted Radiesse

Radiesse can be customized based on your goals.

Undiluted Radiesse provides stronger structural support and contouring. Diluted Radiesse is used to stimulate collagen over a broader area with minimal volume change, acting more like a collagen “blanket” beneath the skin.

Your provider will determine the appropriate technique based on anatomy, skin quality, and desired outcome.

Why We Pair Radiesse With Fractional CO₂ Laser

Fractional COâ‚‚ laser tightens and remodels the skin from the surface down. Radiesse supports and reinforces tissue from beneath.

Together, they address aging in a biologically intelligent way—tightening the skin, improving texture, and strengthening the underlying framework.

This combination approach often produces more natural, longer-lasting results than either treatment alone.

Treatment Timeline and Longevity

Radiesse results begin immediately and continue to improve over several months as collagen production increases.

Results typically last 12 to 18 months, depending on treatment area, dilution, metabolism, and lifestyle factors.

For optimal outcomes, Radiesse is often performed as part of a comprehensive treatment plan rather than a one-time procedure.
